Corporate Sustainability for Human Resource Leaders with Will Marre and Realeadership Alliance
Will Marre, acclaimed leadership speaker and expert, will speak at the upcoming National Human Resource Event.

ENCINITAS, CA, March 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Will Marre, CEO of Realeadership Alliance and author of Save the World and Still Be Home For Dinner (Capital Books) will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming National Human Resource Association event on March 9, 2010. Titled "Talent on Fire: Igniting a Culture of Sustainable Innovation" (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60u2mDo4erc), Marre will inspire and empower HR leaders to move beyond corporate social responsibility to corporate sustainability by becoming a driving force in sparking their talent to new levels of energy, optimism, and innovation through new business models, innovation processes and leadership thinking.

According to Marre, the way we define productivity is rapidly changing. We are moving from measuring the quantity of what we produce to examining the value of what we create. This is happening because the current way we measure productivity is obsolete. Marre contends that the huge productivity gains of the past ten years are "fake." He asserts, "Just dividing our GDP by the number of people employed doesn't give us any insight as to the human value of what we are producing. Producing more cigarettes because of automation or increasing the number of divorces a lawyer can process due to overwork tells us nothing about the quality of our future life."

Furthermore, Marre asserts that the value of work has fundamentally changed in the past 20 years. Whereas workers used to be rewarded for being reliable, following rules and putting in time, today the world is looking for more. Innovation that benefits humanity and creates a more sustainable future is what is increasingly valued. According to Marre, we are no longer employing a work force but a talent force.

"So what does this mean for HR leaders?" asks Marre. "Plenty. A business must create a sustaining business culture that energizes employees, creates a unique profit edge and makes a positive impact on humanity and the environment. Anything less is a waste of valuable time and resources we need for a sustainable future."

Marre's new leadership training is based on a 21st century leadership paradigm, business models and EverGreen innovation to create unique value. Marre calls this corporate sustainability. It is a fully integrated business model uniting strategy, new product development, marketing and talent development.
