Autohaus Windhoek currently sells around 160-170 new and pre-owned vehicles per month. "On the sales side we are quite a dominant player although Namibia is a marginal market compared to our South African neighbour," notes Pretorius. Autohaus services around 100 vehicles per day at its dealerships across Namibia, carrying around N$15 million worth of parts in order to cater for every customers needs.

Looking forward, Autohaus Windhoek aims to work closely with VW, Audi and MAN South Africa in order to grow their respective global brands. "VW and Audi worldwide have an initiative called Mach 18," notes Pretorius. "This is to position Audi as the number one premium brand in the world and VW as the highest quality mass-manufactured vehicle company. We will obviously align ourselves with these strategies in terms of market position and penetration. This will entail high intensity marketing, visibility and training."
