Established in 2008, Shenhua Watermark is currently in the exploration phase for large coal deposits in the Gunnedah region of New South Wales (NSW), Australia. Despite already identifying roughly 9 million in recoverable coal reserves, the company is on hold for production until the NSW government processes its new planning orders for the region. In the meantime, the company has made it a point to engage with the local community as much as possible to ensure complete transparency in all business and exploration activities being carried out by Shenhua.
